Thanks guys. You seriously show me how to do anything on my truck. 2000 ram 1500 5.9 I'm a 29 yr old female with a retired mechanic as a dad. So your videos make it possible to fix my only truck I have that I've worked hard for. Don't have a lot of money 🤑 so you guys have literally taught me some awesome shit on here. Wish I could meet you guys in person.im forever grateful for these videos . I'd be lost and without a running truck lmao.

Good video. Definitely remove the bolt securing the transmission dip stick. It gives you more room to remove the sensor. And be ready wrestle the sensor out of the rubber grommet. This video shows him removing the sensor oh so easy but it is not that easy. It takes at least 30 to 40 minutes to get the job done after taking about another 30 to 40 minutes looking at it from every angle😂

I have t6he same truck and have been trying to get a mobile mechanic. to come to my house to remove and replace the sensor . My truck is non- drivable and I usually do my own repairs , but in this case I cannot do because of a herniated disc in my back and a umbilical hernia in my stomach , so this pretty much counts me out to achieve this. Having it towed to a shop is money I don have because limited social security income . Thanks for the video.

My 95 Ram 1500 would act up after I drove it for about 15 minutes. (Especially if I drove it then stopped somewhere for 10 -;20 minutes then started driving again). Quick question does the crank sensor plug into the shortest plug from the harness or the longest? Please let me know ASAP I'm working on one as I take your advice
@1AAuto4 жыл бұрын
+ALD Stokes The crank sensor itself should be the sensor that has the large bracket attached to it. There is one crank sensor on the vehicle. We would not be able to say based on harness length as it may differ from production year.
@aldstokes57694 жыл бұрын
It's a 1996 dodge ram 5.2 liter if that helps, too explain even further. It has those two plugs on the driver side both male ends with wire separators. From the harness of course. Any more thoughts?

@1AAuto4 жыл бұрын
