How to replace door lock / soft close actuator on F02 2013 BMW 750Li

2013 BMW 750Li xDrive how to replace door lock / soft close actuator. My soft close was making a grinding noise every time I closed the door. Couldn't find anything helpful online so decided to wing it and figure out myself and make this video to help future DIY'ers. Swap out to fix malfunctioning soft close and if your car isn't locking or unlocking as it should.

The pen is designed to be hit upwards instead of doing what he did

One side was not bigger then the other so not sure how you figure. All I know is that it definitely wasn’t necessary to be there in the first place.

I have this car and my side view mirrors stopped functioning and I had to change master switch module.
