This video shows you how to install an EGR valve on your 2000-2007 Ford Focus 2.0L L4. The EGR valve helps to reduce pollution by directing some exhaust gas back through the combustion chambers. If the valve is stuck the system won't work correctly, and if it leaks the engine might stall or not start at all.
This repair was done on a 2006 Ford Focus ZX4 2.0L Sedan 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

I have Ford Focus 2007 model running on petrol and check engine lights have been a problem for a while now and it says EGR system flow fault, it might take more time and cost to order a new EGR and replace so I am planning on deleting or blocking the EGR but still unsure about it. do you recommend of using blocker plate for the solution?
