Thanks for the vid. Very helpful. I don’t remember it being mentioned in the vid, but I did end up removing the overflow tank and battery pan to gain more room as I am a bit big and clumsy. Once the Chevy took her ounce of blood in the form of a knuckle scrap, it was smooth sailing.

The frost plug that's on the water pump I never seen one on a water pump what is it for what is on the other side of it?

That belt might be the toughest part of this job . If you are not replacing it is it possible to just remove it from the upper pulleys and bungee it to the open hood above ?

When you started the video, the camera was in too close. Would be nice to know where that first bolt is located. And why do you think that the entire belt has to come off? Save yourself some time and just move it aside.And never tighten bolts until all bolts are installed, this prevents you from stripping out the threads

One mistake I noticed, you’re supposed to tighten the water pump bolts to 11 foot pounds, and the water pump pulley bolts to 18 foot pounds. Other than that great video!

Lil' tight but did my 2010 without battery removal. Every time I disconnect battery the engine won't run for a day. Something to do with anti theft system.
