Dude you doing this with your mom reminded me of when my mom would help out with stuff in the garage, too. Thanks brother, great work and super easy to understand!

I'm 51 and never actually changed the fork seals on any of my dirt bikes before. Thanks for the very informative video, it was extremely helpful.

Great job on the video. Good editing. I have never done one of these and you taught me key things including the amount of oil. Only thing I would change is start calling your assistant, “my beautiful assistant”. No matter what she cannot complain when you ask her for help.

Great video. I’m 90% sure the forks are the same from 2000-current. They should all be stock kyb that’s what Yamaha uses. They are a joint company with each other also.

I know that my 03 yz250f forks were just like this and like my 2011 yz450f I have now they’re all three the same both my bikes and yours in the video so I imagine it’s the same for all unless you have aftermarket forks.

you aren't supposed to use a hammer on the seal driver. you just slide the driver down the tube into the seal and it acts as a hammer itself.

Thanks for your concern.I’ve used that process for years and it makes quick, reliable, and easy work of this job.
