I think he removed just enough to get at the top of the strut.

Also, I removed the anti rollbar link from the bottom nut to be able to pull the arm down low enough to drop the hub. Then, putting it back together, the link would not line up properly with the arm to slit back in.i had to use a pry bar to alight the link with the bar😂

False. This is the procedure for the drivers side only.The Co drivers side is a whole different situation.
