You guys should also make that front bracket that’s on the tank. In the north here all rusted and no replacement

I'm in Michigan the salty winter state . So a good idea is to clean the out side and spray the whole tank with a can of undercoat.

You should make a video of replacing a heater core in a Jeep libirty 2011.

why would you A put old fuel in a new fuel tank and B put fuel in before installing it...an empty tank is easier to install

I have a 1996 Chevy S10 that's kind of rare year when it comes to some parts we're completely different from 97 and up. If I wanted to go to a 97 fuel tank with a sending unit is that all that is required to make everything work?

What an overly complicated and PITA way of mounting a tank!!! Great job filming and explaining it though

I own a 1994 S10 and this is not the way my tank is installed. I unbolted the cargo bed and jacked it up to replace the fuel pump in my truck. This method is a much friendlier route if you don’t have the luxury of a lift and transmission jack. You also disconnect the hoses with tab in the ‘94 these hose are screwed together and have to be taken apart from the top.

Good luck finding a metal crew cab tank. I damaged mine and can't find one anywhere.

They are out there. Just had one delivered yesterday. But you’re right they are hard to find, Chevy couldn’t source a single OEM one anywhere in the US for me

Poor video? Sizes of bolts sockets lacking information
@David-zo9oi2 жыл бұрын
40 seconds into the video before they put a socket on anything he gave sizes…
@Harley46835 Жыл бұрын
The video is useless and the suggestions as far as how to do whatever are a waste of time when you intentionally refuse to mention what tools are needed from the socket size to the style of clamp etc

Why wouldn't you wait to transfer old fue into new tank?
@bluegrassman3040 Жыл бұрын
To keep out rust, etc that was in the old tank. Unless you have a really good way to strain it out of the old fuel.
