Hi, now I'm preparing a complete replacement procedure for all parts on the Fuser Unit on this MP4002 4001 model. So Upper Fuser Roller, Press Roller, lamps ... But maintaining a competent copier is a good idea.

Hello. I have noticed this model has an issue with copying light colors, blue, greenand red producing very faint or almost blank. Is there a setting that can be changed. Thanks in advance

@@MrRicoh Thanks for the reply. I have come across only one machine of the same series that produced very nice and dark copies irrespective of the original document color so I thought it was a setting issue👍🏾

@Vinochyl We have a trick where we change the settings and put in a different developer, but it's not authorized and hard to explain.

I have ricoh mp 5001, I have seen today that fuser cleaning web not winding prperly onto the spool, and lot of cleaning web stuck loose in between hot roller and base what is the main cause of that

I don't know, I don't see it. You probably need to replace the rollers and the heating foil.

Dear Tomaz thanks for your reply, I have checked each and every gear and it's looks perfect, after every 100-150 copies i have still seen that web is loose in between winding shaft and web roller, and I have manually winding the web, you have fitted the alen key gear on that direction my gear is now fitted just opposite. In my system Alen key on top side. May be it was not fitted wrongly by my technician?

Metal Driven gear with allen key lock when you put back it’s a wrong position..
