Can you replace red film with black one, mine has got scratches

The red film has a heating element inside, it is the fuser roll. The black one is just for applying pressure, has no heating element. They are not interchangeable.

@@demahsamusic8825 I couldn't get the red so I bought a pink one but seems to be jamming and making the ink spread anyhow

@@bravepascal2758 Sounds bad man :( if you want official canon part, don't buy just the sleeve, but the entire roll (with heating element and cable included). Canon doesn't supply just the sleeve, so if you buy that it won't be an original product.
