Nine-year belated thank you. Would not have known to remove the front grill without your help. All cars I've dealt with you reach in and change the bulbs or unscrew the headlamps. First time dealing with this grill situation. On mine there was a clip at bottom center of the grill in addition to the clips you showed. Had to reach in to get it to release w/o breaking the grill. Thx x2

+1A Auto Parts gracias again...it all ended up just fine. I needed a little bit of help with the "clip looking metal piece" that holds the light tight into place...I only needed to replace the main light bulb....so in a certain way I was looking at the wrong tutorial....but it was very useful. Thank you again. The light is working just fine now.

thanks, just did mine. For anyone who encounters burned out connectors that are difficult to hook back in, you can get a few more inches of length on the socket wire if you unhook the harness a few inches towards the side of the car.

If all I want to do is replace the headlight bulb, do I need to pull the whole thing apart like this? I had a 2003 Vitara and I could get to everything from the engine compartment. I will look, but just curious. I think I will change out the whole thing since they look like the old one you have here.

This process is somewhat similar for a Chevy Tracker, but there are differences (Tracker is a Suzuki Vehicle). Both vehicles swap many parts.

Do you have to align the headlight after it is installed?? How do you do that?

My 1997 ford expedition does not take the parking break, but will take all other gears including 4x4. Any hints of why it doesn't want to take the parking gear?

You may want to check the rear emergency brake shoes to see if they need to be replaced, or if the cable is frozen. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
