Thanks. The 10mm under the light would not come off. Painted on. So it was a hard job. Still got it to work without removing that one fastener. Would not recommend leaving it on though.

I had some aftermarket headlights put in on my 2006 Highlander Hybrid Limited and the people who did it switched the cables for the headlights and fog lights. This video helped me to fix it myself with the least amount of disassembly. Took a little longer than it should have because they also didn't put things back together correctly. Thank you very much!

I have a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid but these instructions worked perfectly. I didn't have to worry about the step to release the two clips on the side for the grill.

Thanks for the video. I was able to replace my headlight assembly quickly after watching this video but I left the bulbs attached and just twist them out. Also I did not need to remove the lower bracket below the headlight. Thanks again for the great video!

Thanks for the vid. I just did a set of these. But I did a few things differently. / 1. I had to remove the battery to get a pair of needle nose pliers on the clip that holds the drivers side of the grille in. / 2. Unplug the high and low beam bulbs while the headlight is still bolted in so you can use one hand to press on the release tab and the other to push down on the plug with a long screwdriver and push the plug off of the bulb connector. (remove the turn signal plug after you've pulled the assembly out) / 3. You don't have to remove the bracket that he did @ 4:20. After you've loosened the bumper and pulled it away and down, pull the headlight as far forward as it will go, then tilt the top back. Use a screwdriver to lever the lower part of the headlight over the plastic clips in the middle of the metal bracket while pulling it forward and up. You don't have to press hard on the plastic bracket, you just guide the headlight over it. It took very little effort and the headlight assembly popped right out. It slips back in even easier. / Replacing both took about an hour.

Is it possible to remove the headlight without removing bumper

For anyone with a 2002 this video works fine but there are no screws along the bottom of the assembly. Once you disconnect the top 2 bolts and grill just pull hard. The assembly is held in by a metal stud and a plastic tab, both by pressure.

Totally unnecessary taking apart of things. Save your time and just bend over and pull the bulbs out by hand it’s much easier. Took me 5 minutes...taking apart like he did is maybe the safest way but mine worked damn easy

Or, get them restored professionally for $100 and they'll look brand new. Cheaper, cost effective. Always stick with the OEM. After market parts are poor quality. They won't last as long, they'll age quickly, the seals fail and you get moisture inside. Restoration by a headlight expert is the way to go.
