Just got done doing this. Its a pain but it's so much better than blindly feeling around in the wheel well and most likely dirtying up the glass of your new bulb. I went ahead and restored the headlights and changed all 4 low and high beams while i had the bumper off. Now the car looks 5 years newer.

You could go through the wheel arch panel but it’s a real pain if you’re doing more than one.

Dude just take off the part that’s above the tire and reach and and change it from behind. There’s a whole video that shows you in 3 1/2 minutes.
