How to Replace Holden Cruze JG JH Window Regulator 2009-2016 Sedan & Hatch

My clamp broke and the window dropped out of the door guides, if i buy a new regulator does the motor have to be in a certain position before swapping over to the new one and im guessing once clamped onto the new clamps the regulator will keep itself in the door guides

Do you have to ensure the motor is in the up position before swapping it over to the new regulator?

No any position where you can get the glass of it is okay

Does the glass have to be up so the motor swap is in the same position, or does it figure out the new position on its own?

I bought a car second hand and previous owner reved the broken one. I have a new regulator. Where can I get a motor? 2010 Cruze left passenger. I can't seem to find one online. Thanks for video as it will definitely help me on reassembly. Cheers

just wondering if there's an easy way to tell if I need a window regulator or a window motor. The window is down and just stopped working. There's no sound when the button is pressed
