How do you get the plotter to work on just black ink without the color cartridges? I've tried to find that option, thought I had it, but it still won't operate without colors.

Hi louisiana, our HP Plotter is the Model HP500 which only works with black ink. It does not have a color printing function. But as of today we are having problem finding the right PRINT HEAD since this plotter is already DISCONTINUED. Once we get a new printhead we can use our HP 500 plotter again for printing hopefully we can find a spare printhead online .... :(( Thanks!

does it not clog the print heads? as of today jan 8 2022 we're having problems buying the hp10 ink from our suppliers. it seems hp10 is out of stock already
