How to replace/install Airbag Clock Spring Kia Rio/Hyundai Accent 2012-17

In vehicle steering systems a clock spring or clockspring is a spiral-wound special rotary electrical conductor which allows a vehicle's steering wheel to turn while still making an electrical connection between the steering wheel airbag and/or the vehicle's horn and other devices and the vehicle's electrical systems. The clockspring is located between the steering wheel and the steering column.

After you put steering wheel in place and tighten the nut is safe to pull the clip. Just remember to do it before installing the airbag. Thanks for watching!!

Need more info, there’s a lot of components that need to be check. Thermostat, coolant leak, check if the fan is working, radiator cap, etc

Can you help out? Which part number was your original Clock Spring on that car and which part number was the replacement clock spring? Was it 934901W120?

Sorry man, i dont have that number and i threw out the old one. But le me tell you that its a dirt cheap replacement from eBay. It was a gamble but it works, no complaints and for 20$ free shipping 😂. Dont know how long gonna last

Thanks@@lolosgaragediy7090 ! I found an online Kia parts website and was able to input my car's VIN number and it gave me the correct part number. I ordered a new clockspring from eBay using their part number and it just arrived. I'm going to install it today... Thanks for the video! It did it for me!
