Hi, I have an iphone 12, screen and back of it is in perfect condition but only problem is possible needed an anntenna replacement per Apple store. Because I was not able to get wifi signal after factory reset and it been stuck at the recovery mode. Is it still good to sell?

@wyeung168 thats unfortunately a board level issue. The pads connecting the bottom board and the top board probably got ripped off. You either need those specific pads repaired. Or a bottom board swap. Depending on how many pads are ripped

thank you for your videos! i am new learning so i can work from home one day :) is it possible to tell if wifi not working is due to a damaged antenna flex or motherboard? e.g. wifi not working after dropping and LCI is red, could replacing wifi flex fix or it could still be broken due to motherboard damage? sorry for the question, hope it makes sense.. thank you

That’s an issue with your board. The pads connecting the bottom board to the top board were ripped off. All the damaged pads need to be replaced

Hi, i enjoyed watching your video. quick question, my wifi isn't greyed out but the hotspot, wifi, bluetooth and airdrop strength are ridiculously poor. i noticed all at the same time. do you think changing the cable can also solve it.

WiFi , Bluetooth and nfc are 3 separate flex cables. Generally 3 flex cables don’t all take a crap at the same time. Can you elaborate on the physical condition of your device? Is the back glass broken? Was it the back glass repaired recently? Any other relevant info you can share

Hello, My wifi is grayed out. My bluetooth is just searching, my Celluar does not work. Would I be able to fix any of those ? I also have a Iphone 12 pro max. Also my whole back is cracked but still in tact. I did have the front replaced, that's how I found out none of those things were working.

I’d cut your losses, that’s a board level issue that could easily cost 300 on the low end to repair. It’s all dependent on how many pads are torn. If there’s a bunch it could be a lot more than that

mine is the flex because my spare 12 has no back glass and I guess the flex ripped off at some point so its greyed out

Greyed out WiFi is a board issue not an antenna flex issue. Likely one or several pads are missing/ripped off the board resulting in grayed out WiFi
