This was an incredible video to find! I was so upset after hearing that my whole door panel needed to be replaced because it was all one piece. Bought these handles 6 months ago, and finally get to it today. One thing I can say is that the hardware that comes with the handles sucks. The washers barely fit and the screws are too short and thin.

Thanks...nice walkthrough. I didn’t use drill bit. Cracked all old plastic off and was able to use existing holes for screws. Holding up nicely! P.S. don’t forget 3rd door screw in middle of handle to attach to door frame.

Very cheap design. Chrysler has taken a lot of shortcuts in it's long history, but this is by far one of the worst.

Ive tried ordering these handles multiple times, but the ones that come are a dark khaki color, and my wife's has a lighter khaki interior. But all I can find online are black or khaki. Any ideas?

Mine arrived khaki, I had to repaint them gray. Took 1 hr to prime & paint 3 handles including drying time. Meanwhile I pulled the door panels and drilled the old handles off.

Thank quote was insane. I got 4 handles off eBay for $90 total, took 2 hours to get them installed in 3 panels (1 left over). Easy job. Crappy OEM materials in the 06 Commander, but the Jeep is ok.
