Great video and very informative! I habe an Inspiron 15 which has a defective screen straight out the box. Brightness won't change from dim even though in Windows it shows the brightness meter when trying to adjust the brightness using the Fn key. Dell were great and gave me a replacement laptop that cost three times as much! Thing is they haven't asked for this Inspiron back, so I will give it a few weeks and if no request to return, will buy a new screen and replace it and see if that fixes it. Once again, Thanks!

Easy. But this one in the video doesn't have the double sided adhesive tape that is sandwich between the screen and bezel. You will need to pry up the bezel with care if the screen is still good. Otherwise, you'll crack the screen prying out bezel due to the sticky double sided adhesive they have on there from factory.

Hi, on these Dell i5559 models.. do you know if you can upgrade to 1920x1080, if the original screen is 1366x768 by just changing the screen? or do you also have to update additionally the cable/motherboard?

Hi. You can upgrade to.full hd. It's probably 30 pin connector.
