Hey, I am Jason user. My patio sliding door is with the lever. It won't lock even if I use the key. I turn the key into the lock position, and then I pull the sliding door it unlocked and open! Can you please tell me what should I do?

Hi there! The issue is more than likely you have an old MK2 lock body and the pin has been dislodged and has fallen out, this can happen when the handle is not lifted all the way, then hits the striker loop instead of locking into it. The MK2 is now discontinued. You can convert to a MK3 which you can order through our spare parts team and do the job yourself. We have DIY videos to assist. Alternatively, you can book a Jason service technician to do the change over for you. Our service team will be able to advise the cost of both options and direct you to the DIY video. My handle has a play so it doesnt fully retract the latch before running out of turning angle. Fixable?

@@JasonWindowsWA Thanks for the quick reply. This video was a great help! It turns out the part of the handle that turns the spindle has been stripped, probably from someone forcing the lever while the door was locked.. Anyway, a little hammering and it's working now. Might replace it when I can as it still has a play, so good to know I can just order a replacement.

Hi how do you replace the barrel on this lock just got keys at the new house and the lock doesn't work at all got a replacement lock from your spare parts but have been unable to remove
