I would’ve threw that oil sender sensor at as well. It’s such a bitch to change once they go bad. Should’ve put a new one while you were in there

And the heater hose auxiliary tee at the firewall that connects to the heater core definitely a bitch to do as well

I was gonna put the afm lifters back in my 5.3 just like your video, but then buy a Disabler to turn the system off,, thoughts,,,? Thanks

I've been watching these videos in order and they are Wonderful! I see that you are installing the heads in this video. Did I miss the insertion of the lifters?

Any advice on how to drop the rear head bolts next to fire wall fire wall will not let me drop head bolt in it hits the fire any tricks or advice to get those 2 last bolts in by fire wall don't understand gm didn't make the fire wall a little inwards to be able to slide bolts in thats gm for you.

The only time you need to resurface is if your head gasket blows. That will cause high pressure combustion to escape the cylinder and found out the head and block requiring both to be surface flat. The lifter doesn't require machining to replace assuming the failed lifter wasn't caused by an out-of-alignment lifter guide.

No he didn’t delete the dod he just replaced the all the original lifters like it was when it came from the factory but I would have definitely deleted the dod/afm going that deep in

He replaced it because it had debris in it. He said that the amount of time it takes to clean them out vs getting a new one just made it easier and fool proof to get a new one since they go for around $200.

The only comment I would make is you're using your torque wrench for a breaker bar or a ratchet ,that click you here is you're exceeding the torque setting and abusing your tq wrench .
