NIce video! Just to clarify, using the handle just simply moves the lever? It itself doesn't trigger anything electronically when opening the door correct? Just want to ensure I understand how it works before diving in.

Yes, nice video.......thanks. I am doing the same job but I am having a problem with my license plate housing going back on. The two christmas tree clips on the bottom inner are fine, but what holds the left and right towers of the housing on the top. Mine sags away from the hatch.....?
