Thanks for the video! For anyone also struggling with the replacement struts being too long, after an hour I found online that you should "compress them slightly", which means to hold the strut against something solid and hit the other end with an hammer a couple times; compare it with the old strut until they match. Hope it helps anyone out there, P2 fam

Before you take apart half of your damn car, make sure you bought the right struts. Apparently there are two types, with different ball socket diameter, so don't just buy the cheapest one you see.
