Whats the purpose why we have to replace the damper?
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif5 жыл бұрын
If your damper has been very old and hard. It makes the transmission from the hub to the drum jittery. You may feel it when switching between acceleration to deceleration and the otherwise.

If the damper is damaged the rear big sprocket will have an rotational play compared to the wheel Thats how you know the damaged rubber dampers

Yup, that's right

What happens if your missing dampers
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, this is a good question. If you do not use this damper, the power transmission from the sprocket to the wheel will be jittery (i.e. you will get abrupt shock)

If that rubbers gets fail .what type of sound came .
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif5 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. Me myself also find it difficult to know the sound that indicates its malfunction since the chain noise is louder. Unfortunately you have to disassemble them to check out visually.

In my bike I have loose slack between chain sprocket and damper. What are problems we gonna have with wear damper?
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. Generally, the power transmission will be "jittery" because the sprocket will rotate without followed by the wheel. So in extreme case, there's a slight "delay" on acceleration to deceleration (or otherwise) shifting.
@PavanKumarHB5 жыл бұрын
@@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif yes perfect. I'm feeling this every time I shift down or up. Delay and sudden catch.

My rear wheels are very stiff and tight. Cant totate with my hands when I try while the bike is in centre stand. Is this damper the reason? I thought the rear disc brakes were the issue and replaced them. Still the issue is there. Please help me.
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif Жыл бұрын
Firstly I suggest you to check and adjust the brake, it shouldn't resist the motion of the wheel when the lever or pedal is released. Secondly, make sure the chain is properly adjusted. You can see my videos in the channel to conduct those two maintenance procedure.

@@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif ok thanks man. I'll check that out. Can you make videos on how to adjust rear disc brakes on 250 cc bikes?

How to find damper wheels are damaged without opening the wheels?
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif6 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. But unfortunately, you can't check the damper conditions without opening the wheels.

"Outer hub of the damper get overheating" this is the answer for you
@BohumirZamecnik14 күн бұрын
When on the center stand, you can check if the sprocket can wiggle relative to the wheel. If so, the hub is likely worn.

I have a question, does the bolt that connects to the rear sprocket on the hub can be remove? how?
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif7 жыл бұрын
+phillipthegreat Of course, it can be removed. Firstly, you need to bend the lock washer. Finally, you can remove (unscrew) the bolts. Good luck 👍
@phillipthegreat347 жыл бұрын
It seems its hard for me to remove it, if you have time, can you include it on the video? :) thanks and more power
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif7 жыл бұрын
+phillipthegreat It can't be removed before you remove the bolts. However, you can only bend the washer, thus you can unscrew the bolt. Anyway, thanks for your video request. I hope I have a chance to make that particular video.

Hey bro a clunk hard noise coming from rear chain side when i shifted gear to 1st and 2nd. Some times for 3rd gear also. Is it the problem of damper set? Chain is not loose wheel alignment is correct. What may be the reason?
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif7 жыл бұрын
+Abhijith S Does the noise appears continuously? Or, really as you said, only when you shift your gears?
@abhijiths41717 жыл бұрын
Sekolah Online Teknik Otomotif yes only when gear shifting.. mainly to first and second gears.

Sekolah Online Teknik Otomotif not on chain i mean the sound is from sprocket..
@sekolahonlineteknikotomotif7 жыл бұрын
+Abhijith S Firstly, check the drive chain and both front and rear sprocket from wear. Secondly, make sure the drive chain slack is properly adjusted (according to the repair manual or manufacturer recommendation). Finally, if there's no problems, I suggest you to check the damper and other related components. Good luck!

+Erickson Quinones Unfortunately I can't guess what's your engine malfunction. We should check the engine directly. So, you should inspect that noise by yourself. Are you sure the noises are only occurred when you switch the gear? Or the noises are keep occurred when your engine runs?
