Got a leaky Silverado or Sierra? Yup, me too! Today I am starting to tackle the leaks on my 2006 Chevy SilveradoMAX with a 6.0 Vortec, but it's the same process for a GMC Sierra. First item on the list is replacing the oil cooler lines! Mine have failed where the rubber line is crimped into the steel lines and it's just adding to the oily mess I am dealing with. This video is made to be a guide / demonstration on replacing your oil cooler lines yourself. It is only 3 bolts and two clips, the real struggle is there just isn't much room to work, especially on a truck with 4wd.
Parts I used (affiliate link)
Dorman 625-340 Oil Cooler Lines for 6.0

SuperClean Foam Degreaser (also available at Walmart)

Generally for SilveradoMax, 1500HD, 2500HD, but available on other models as well.
