A very helpful video on changing oil filter. One important point. It is far better insert the new cartridge into the filter housing first, the hole in the filter will guide and centre the central oil feed stem into position much more readily. Also removing the filter simply requires pulling it out of the top cap.

Can you make more Kia ceed 1.6 crdi videos? How often you have to change motor chain or is it maintenence free which last life time of car?

+Saul Muñoz Hello. Sorry, no Kia video. Kia is similar car like Honda, more difficult to repair then Toyota and spare parts service is not like Toyota's. So I will do only Toyota's videos and maybe some BMW.
@tamas.alfoldi8 жыл бұрын
sorry have to correct you, Kia is not similar to Honda but to Hyundai. And actually it is simple and straightforward to repair the Kias or do any modification on them, they are surprisingly very smartly engineered.

You didn't lock the new filter before you plug it in.! Like you have turned the centre plastic to unlock it, you must have made it again in the other way to lock the new one to the oil cap...

Bernardo Rodrigues Thanks. This filter was complex. I need to do new video.

if you run these engines at operating temperature and then whilst the engine is still running take of the oil filler cap and remove the oil dipstick...... 1. oil filler cap hole throws out a puff of black smoke which dissipates.and the blow.by pressure.seems.to.be exessive 2. dipstick.throws.out oil..... you.can check this on the engine.by either putting your.hand over the oil filler cap just slightly above it or using a white a4 paper hold it above the dipstick and oil filler cap and then u can see the oil.stsins it catches....am.bit concerned about this issue with these engines....i have a 2011 reg hyundai 130 and a friend of mine has a 2012 reg kia ceed has anybody else noticed this issue
