Can you please start showing the locations? These videos start way zoomed in and sometimes its hard to locate the part.

Thank you for posting this. I suspected my 2000 Mountaineer had a bad PVC valve. It had all the classic symptoms. But the Haynes book was not helpful on a 5.0 engine. I followed your every step. Other than a couple skinned knuckles, I was successful, and at 146K, it's running fine again.

This can also apply to the Job 1 4.0 sohc found in the early 01 Sport Tracs which have two lines but the same PVC

You need to zoom out once and a while so we can see where youre actually working. Show us the locations.

Does this apply to an 2001 sport trac too?

I bought a Haynes manual. It showed where valve was supposed to be, but it wasn't. Will check where you showed. 147,000 miles and pcv never has been replaced. Running rough.

what was the purpose of disconnecting the harness? was that just to have better access to the valve?

This does not match my Ford Explorer V6 4.0 L engine. I wish you would say which engine it was.

Makes no sense not to identify the engine being worked on.
