you should be able to see right on the cap what to use. Probably will be some type of dexron atf. I think dexron 3 or 4

And on the washer dont bang or use pry bar just use a nut And Bolt with a socket socket bigger than the washer insert and tighten till washer is flush Goes right in

atf and ps fluid are virtually the same I thought? I think atf just has extra detergents to clean crap out of the system

Make sure you are using the right power steering fluid for your make, model, year. Also, youll have to do full rotations on the steering wheel to each side as he did in the video, it might take you 5 minutes of non stop turning or it might take 10 minutes, it depends.
