Fantastic job! So much detail. One of the best brake change videos I've seen. Do you want to also apply brake grease where the brake pads attach to the shims?

Nice video. Do you know in the pins with the vibration dampeners are on the top of the calipers on both the drivers and the passenger sides?

Very detailed. If I'd add anything I've learned from experience that it is a really good idea to just go ahead and take this opportunity to flush out your brake lines if you're in there doing all this other stuff. Is it a must do? Nah. But it's a probably should do. Get fresh fluid in the system and flush out the old stuff, especially from those calipers. Especially if its been a few years or if you notice that your brake fluid has darkened a bit. There's countless videos on how to manually bleed the lines out and you can do it will very simple tools if you want to. Old fluid lessens brake system performance and can cause failure of expensive components, like calipers. And once those calipers freeze up on you it doesnt take long before you roach a set of pads and/or the rotors as well. I've learned these lessons the hard way.

FYI for more clarity: Slider pin with rubber grommet on end goes on top for the rear driver side and btm for the rear passenger side.

I'm doing this right now but a couple problems. My sliders were very difficult to remove, actually still stuck in the caliper. Do you think I need a new caliber or can this all be cleaned and reassembled??

I thought that if your e brake has brake shoes that would mean you have brake drums not brake rotors. Could you clarify for me please?

Does anyone know if there is anything special I have to do to replace the calipers? My uncle works on gm cars and is helping me, but is concerned we might have to do something involving the emergency braking system

There's no way my dealership does all this when they change to brakes

You should never add brake fluid to a brake system. If the fluid is low, it is because your brakes are low or you have a leak
