I use white grease on the sliding bolts, and on the part where he used a wire brush also! I highly recommend finding out weather you have the steel piston or not, and if you have small clip size on back of break pads or the bigger size. I got the big clip and it didn't fit after having everything already torn all apart and the wheel off.

Just use this for a reference thank you very much. The only comment I have is on putting the calipers back on, bottom goes on first and the top clips in place with that little spring on the top of the outside brake pad.

Hi there. Thank you for this informative video. The rear right disc on my '99 Grand Marquis LS is not budging. I spend an entire hour hammering the rotor to no avail and I used a lot of penetrating fluid. Is it possible that the parking brake is holding the disc in place? Thanks.

Monitor brake fluid reservoir during "any" caliper decompression ; to avoid a mess on your shop floor . And avoid any collateral paint removal from brake fluid .

guess I wasn't hitting mine hard enough. let em sit overnight with several penetrating oil applications, still weren't budging. hit em hard with a sledge n they came off, thx for the vid.

Beware....my 1999 Crown Victoria had washers for some reason on the rotors....have to do alot of pounding and brake the washers with a screwdriver.

Poor video... numerous omissions...better to get ford shop manual and follow it... sure ain't buying parts from these guys
