Thank you for posting this easy “how to!” I couldn’t figure out how to get the cover off and didn’t want to force and break it. Now, I need to buy a bulb. 🙏🙏

Glad it helped. Yes, the plastic tabs on these covers are flimsy. If you break one during removal, you now have another issue to fix.

I have a Maytag and the lighting looks to be the same as your video. However when I pulled out the old bulb there was no number on the glass of the bulb to tell me what replacement bulb should be. The only thing I see is on the screw in metal part of the bulb which is stamped 120v 40W CHINA. The model # on the fridge is MFF2558VEM10

It would have been nice if they had the bulb size also there such as A15. Sounds like the A15 linked here should work for you. It is a 40W equivalent and the E26 base is quite standard for fridge bulbs. Also, try this link for another option: www.maytagreplacementparts.com/Shop-For-Parts/a4b4i441d698617/Model-MFF2558VEM10-Maytag-Refrigerator-Light-Bulb-Parts

@@MI_Magazine you're awesome to get back with me so quickly. I still have time to run to the hardware store and get those bulbs you recommended. Much appreciated! 👍😉

Unfortunately, I've not done this for LED replacements. Try this video to see if it helps: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4DOq2Wcd9KUhas
