How to replace Schlage deadbolt cylinder lock

That C shaped washer piece goes between the tailpiece and the retainer cap

As long as you call schlage customer service and tell them that your securekey deadbolt stopped working, they should be able to work with you and send you a replacement deadbolt by using the number that is located on the back of your original schlage key. I hope this hels you.
