Just did try..neither cable just 'jumped on' ..both disappeared down hole.had to take both new handles off. Both broke..f failure 14£ down drain

Finally ended up building the confidence to change mine, fuck me it was hard ended up ripping it off and breaking it (I had a spare one) then replaced it but jeez those clips are hide to find are idk why but for me they didn't unclip when using a srewdriver

Trust me your not the only one. Especially if you brought a cheap part from China. I'm gonna be paying £100+ to get this done properly at a ford garage, already broken 2 cheap chinese pieces of ****.

Always breaking off on my mums Fiesta all Mk6 3 doors will have this issue at some point in it’s life as it’s design fault passenger seat has been left without the plastic handle as we’ve got fed up of it.

Need to replace the wire inside the seat its really complicated (need to take the seat out and attach new wire then re-fit handle

That was the case with mine. An inapt 'mechanic' broke that piece (shown at 02:31) while trying to remove the old handle!!! The new handle gets into place but the seat still doesn't tilt... I did an easy cheap fix by applying a carabiner ring through the wire. Now I pull the ring to tilt the seat!
