I changed the battery and it's shown in the app that it's change but the bot is not working in the app is shows that the command is successful but nothing happens. Please help

You need the hub if you want to control it outside of Bluetooth range or over the internet

any idea how long the battery should last? i bought mine 1 month ago and have pressed it 2-4 times a day since. it just stopped responding. i find it hard to believe it could be out of battery already but maybe they ship with dead batteries after sitting on the shelf? in the switchbot app it shows it as in "press mode" and lets me click it like usual but no response. the smart hub that controls it is also showing up as online and functioning normally

the face plate absolutely will not come off. "fingernail"... it bent my butter knife

How long does the battery last? I intend to buy a switchbot to activate a VTOMAN power station that supplies electricity to a camping area and since this requires manual manipulation and will be inside the cabin without access for campers, I need to leave it programmed to turn on and off

You want to remove the entire switchbot from the switch or just the battery?

YOU DON'T REMOVE THE SWITCHBOT! Just pry off the front face, WHILE ATTACHED. There is a place to insert a knife edge.
