Can you do a complete tear down of the internal parts and transfer to a new tailgate? 2020 ram 1500 limited no one has a video out there for this. For those who have to replace their tailgate and want to diy.

I need to replace just the lock cylinder in my 2018 ram tailgate. The factory key in my FOB stopped working. Does the factory part 68211624aa program itself to your original key when inserted? I don't see that it comes with its own key. Thank you in advance.

Why tf would you go to all the trouble to remove the cam and lock cylinder before removing the handle assembly? Just remove the electrical connectors and remove the handle and the cylinder and cam are right there. Easy peezy.
