My wish is that all the tutorials on KZbin could be like this one. Direct to the point, good pronunciation and precise info. Probably I did it wrong the last time... Congrats and many thanks!

Should the power management system be calibrated regularly?
@poweredbyowc3 жыл бұрын
The battery calibration is recommended to be done every two to three months. The calibrations will help keep the battery readings accurate. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team for more information.

I have the Macbook 13" Mid-2012 model and I believe A1377 / A1405 / A1496 are all compatible with this. Which would you recommend for best performance and longer battery life? My replacement battery is 7.6v .3v greater than the original. Also 55wh vs 50wh. Will it kill my motherboard?
@poweredbyowc2 жыл бұрын
As long as the replacement is rated and designed for that machine, it should be fine. Always check to make sure that whatever battery is purchased, that it is indeed made for that specific model.

Hello There - Thank you 🙏🏻 so much for the vid with excellent instructions. It took me only one time to watch the entire vid and did it on my own. The only thing I did differently was I connected the battery 🔋 first then put those tiny crews back on. The new battery tab was much sturdier than the old one & thought I may not be able to connect it after all the screws were in places. Now I am calibrating the battery, and again I will follow your instructions to the T. I bought the new battery from Amazon. Anyway, I’m not a computer savvy and would like to ask you how long will this batter last (from your experience)? Im planing to get a new MBA anyway but I want to wait until Bestbuy have another sale (I missed their $50 off in the beginning of May). LOL!! It may not be a lot for other folks but 50 off is a lot for me. Thank you again.

Even though it's an older video, but calibrating a li-ion type battery is actually making it worse. You should'nt do it.

So, the "15 minute" time estimate isn't _really_ true, is it? Including the power calibration this is a full-day thing.
