For anyone watching this, please clean the pistons on your brake callipers before you jam all that shit back inside behind the seal. Get an old toothbrush, give them a good scrub, spray brake cleaner on them etc. Make sure they're nice and silver before you push them back. Otherwise an informative video.

Thanks Confound, all good points, in all of my newer videos this is done. Ross

Question, ive just changed my rear pads, bled them more than enough, and now my rear brakes barely work, I didn’t take the lid off when i pushed in pistons, do u think i messed up my caliper or my master cylinder? My brakes worked way better before then new pads 😑😑
@RossPerryProductions4 жыл бұрын
Hi There, I don't believe that is the source of your problem however air can be introduced to the system. Did you make sure there is no air left in the system , and that the reservoir was never run low? Please also bare in mind the new pads need at least 200km to be bedded in. I would suggest to re bleed the system and ensure there is no air bubbles at all.

Hi. Can you send a link on where to get these pads?

Hi there, I buy them from the UK or Europe Ebay and pay the Postage.

Hi. Found your tutorial very helpfull. Thank you. Do i need to bleed brakes when i change front pads? Thank you 👍🏼
@RossPerryProductions3 жыл бұрын
Hi there DNB, Thanks for the comment and watching, I would recommend to always bleed the brakes when you change them, be sure to use a good quality performance fluid as the superbike brakes get very hot. Ross

always a pain, you need a good tap and die set to clean the threads up

Hey mate... any idea how to remove the stock exhaust can ???
@RossPerryProductions3 жыл бұрын
It should just be the 4 bolts where it joins the manifold, and then it slides off. I made this video on the GSXR exhaust Standard Vs Yoshi: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJTSaJSngbZ1ick

@@RossPerryProductions is there a way to just use a slip on ?
@RossPerryProductions3 жыл бұрын
@@bradfrancis8253 No worries Brad
@RossPerryProductions3 жыл бұрын
@@bradfrancis8253 Not really, as long as its the same bolt pattern and there is often a small copper gasket in there too, you can also buy generic slip on adapter plates.
