How to replace the front right ABS speed sensor on your 2013 VW Passat Amazon parts code 00285

I replace the clock spring and once I replace that I still have all the lights and dash on, so to shut them off I had to get a code reader here’s the link at Amazon and I had to get this front speed sensor which I bought on Amazon. It was pretty easy to do the job just pull the wheel off take out one screw unhook the wire and wiggle out the old sensor. When I got it back together the light went out but it showed that the rear speed sensor is bad too so now I’m waiting for that one to come that will be the next video maybe tomorrow.
I checked all the local auto parts stores and the cheapest was $70 with a coupon! this was $16 for both front sensors!
Buy on amazon and I might make $ one day!

Not brake dust, just rust dust behind hub/ bearing. Otherwise helpful except mine is frozen in.....

I replaced mine I have an Autel and during the live data even the new one doesn’t give any reading would it be the axle or whatever it’s detecting inside when spinning?

That sensor, is a magnet, and it reads a piece of metal so unless the sensor was bad, it should work. Do you definitely have the correct scanner to shut off the light? It needs to be able to get into the ABS system.

Do you disconnect the battery to reset the computer after everything?

I used a scanner tool and reset it. Do you need to find one that can get into the ABS section.
