I had the same problem I had to remove the fan housing and used a strap wrench to remove the cover

@@smileymush Thanks for the reply. I hit it with light force a couple of times (because I was frustrated and it loosens up) so luckily I changed the bulb

I just wrestled with mine. I found wiggling it slightly up and down worked off some of the grease, then I could twist it slightly. Wiggle some more, twist, wiggle, twist, bulb came out.

No. I am still without a cooker. I really want the Hotpoint CH60GTCF but see no way of getting one. I don't want to have another one delivered with the same problem and have to return and try again. I need it to be in good condition when it arrives. Can Hotpoint check it out before i have it delivered.

Terrible oven. Bought an expensive one. In the oven, everything burns on top, but the bottom remains raw. The dough does not rise. The oven below boiling more than it bakes, and everything burns on top. Doesn't matter if warm up or not. The oven is very small in size - not even a medium-sized pizza can fit. The flame in the oven is open - baking paper has already caught fire several times. I want to check - maybe it will work better if you turn off the fan? But how to do that?
