you're literally the best, I Need to do my pulley tensioner, serpentine belt, and alternator and believe it or not the part that I was most worried about was the belt this video made me realize I genuinely have nothing to worry about. Thank you Pattay ! will update once the new parts are in, they're on their way.

Thanks Pattay for the confidence. I was getting really nervous changing the belt and was fearful I was going to have issues getting the new one on. I watched your video and it really was a piece of cake. I did it at midnight in the freezing cold. Took me all of 30 minutes. I found sliding the belt in between the tensioner and the top of the crank pulley was the easiest way to get it started and then threaded around all the other pulleys.

I couldn't remember how I released the tension on this belt your video sparked my memory. I used a 8" offset 14 set on the tensioner just forward of the power steering hose. You can leverage down all the way to the fender well with left hand and pull belt over the upper pulley with your right. Great video I wouldn't have remembered without it.

I need to buy one for my element, tried using a regular tensioner tool and you run out of space. I saw the lady in the A1 video pull the mount but she still used a flex head so I was confused. On day 3 of replacing my alternator because of that tensioner

Awesome! I'm not a professional by any means but I was taught to replace the belt every 50k as the recommended service interval. I stick to that on all my cars. I like to change thanks before they become an issue. I just did a quick google search. People are saying Honda recommends serpentine belt to be changed between 50-100k miles. Rent the tensioner tool from auto zone or similar. It is a PIA with one person. With two, the belt goes over water pump pulley as it has no ridges

Today I was at PullAPart looking for a part for my wife’s odyssey. They had it but t wrong model year. Later I think I finally resolved a sticking throttle cable on MadMax Think it got loose. 2 , 14mm wrenches to tighten and I think that’s it. Now.... for the P0744. That’s likely a solenoid block need replacement (per @YepThatsIt youtuber from The UK. Who does vids on transmission repairs.

Power ports as the cigarette lighter?
@ntahater
@ntahater 3 жыл бұрын
@@pattayperformance Dimensionally they have the appearance of a cigarette lighter socket, but it does not function as one. The early EXs' sockets/ports retained spring like tabs that caused plugs to jam inside. Disassembly and plier work makes them usable, but I think there should have been a recall. The issue was resolved for later years
