How To Replace The Spark Plugs on a 2010 Seat Ibiza Mk4 6J

In this video Driveway Dudes Will shows you how to easily replace the spark plugs on a 2010 Seat Ibiza Mk4 6J model without the need for any special tools.
Using just a screwdriver, 16mm deep socket, ratchet, bar you can do this in less than 15 minutes. We used a torque wrench and feeler gauge but if you don't have one or both this can still be achieved. Also a long needle nose pliers can be used but not absolutely necessary.
There is a special purpose made tool you can purchase for this task but why spend money when you may never use it again. Instead watch this video and Will shows you that a screwdriver can do the same without causing any damage.

Thanks so much for posting this. Heynes do not do a manual for the 1.2L 6J so trying to find service manuals without paying through the nose is impossible for this engine variant. A quick question? Below the spark plugs, it looks like in the exhaust manifold shield there is what looks like another spark plug. What is this? It almost looks like a cold start glow plug of sorts, but I'm pretty sure Petrol engines have no such thing? Hence my confusion as to what it is? Also is this a serviceable part?

Really want to try doing this but so afraid to ruin my engine. Should the battery be disconnected before doing this? How could I check if the ignition coils are still in good order?
