Mechanic in the video says “89 foot pounds” which is wrong. Torque spec is 89 inch pounds.

Is this different from the 14 explorer sport with turbos? I’m getting my turbos replaced but it needs a valve cover gasket. They checked twice that apparently the book says 7.2 hours. I find it very hard that a valve cover gasket would take that long.

i hope you answer question, but i have one, my valve and lifters are bad on my 2013, i just also fixed the water pump which they had to take everything apart, what's a bigger job a valve replacement or water pump change?

I mean they are both pretty big jobs. Some may say waterpump some may say a valve depending on which cylinder head.

Where is the fuel filter on a 2015 Ford Explorer 3.5L V6 engine. It’s a regular V6 engine no fancy stuff. Please help

So you didn't explain how to get the extension for the oil cap off the old valve cover. Also, I had to Google torque Sequence because right here really isn't a good explanation when you are so close to the cover. There was one more thing but can't remember right now. Other than those issues this was an informative video. Now to go look at other videos to find out how to remove the extention without breaking it.

Ford spec states 15 ft-lb+45°. For valve cover torque.

Probably because if try to replace the plug tube seal you might crack the plastic valve cover

please correct you video at 8min 15sec to 8min 20sec. Knock sensor is in valley. Wire you refer to is to the Oil Presure switch most likely and it is far easier to disconect the OP swith over undoing ground and injectors if that is the only side being done
