It is probably the same for the Compass with the 2.4L. A flex head gear wrench 19 makes, what looks like a coolant temp sensor, a very easy install.

It's an oil temp sensor the coolant sensor is under the oil and to the right

Ratcheting 19 millimeter wrench would be much easier that that regular 19 millimeter wrench.

Yeah I used a flex head ratcheting wrench 19mm made the oil temp sensor easy to change
