Thanks, my daughters parking the car and hit a stationary object that crushed the bottom of the washer reservoir. The plastic around the pump cracked and all the fluid drained out. The fluid level indicator was broken in the process and fortunately a local dealer had one in stock. Your video took the mystery out of the disassembly process and I appreciate it. The car was a 2007 Camry Hybrid. I ordered the reservoir on Toyota OEM online parts.

I changed mine out in about 45 minutes without taking off the front bumper. The only real challenge was the bolt on top behind the bumper. But a 10mm short socket, 1/4 inch drive got it on and out. Took off tire and some of the wheel well cover. Over all simple DIY project not really requiring much mechanical skill.

As someone mentioned in the comments, we do not need to remove so much. Take off front passenger side wheel and take off a few bolts to pull back wheel well plastic. Then the bolts to reservoir are fairly accessible . It may have taken an hour to replace with new reservoir.

good video, I'm 77 and have been doing this stuff a long time. I also need to do the belt and tensioner and new headlights and fog lights so I will do all this all at one time. The tensioner looks like the front wheel needs to come off and the car raised so I guess it will be 1/2 day job for me. Another video shows the tensioner coming out the top but the dog bones gotta come off and the motor raised some. The local shop wants 500 to do the belt and tensioner so that labor alone covers the new headlights almost. {spyder}

My 2016 Toyota camry se has a small leak in the tank but not enough for me to need to replace it. Though it is annoying everytime I turn on my car the notification pops up saying "low washer fluid" now again I can go a few months depending on the weather without ever needing to refill my liquid. Is there a fuse or something similar I can take out to make that message go away?

Parts alone are like under $100. You can very well do it yourself which is why I mostly do all the work myself. Also mechanics need to make a living they got shop hours thy charge by. But yes most mechanics trying to make a fast buck.
