Thanks for the support I appreciate it! 👍 These were some of my first vids so they are a bit hard for me to watch compared to the never videos but still good info lol

Perfect for what I needed. Even though I have the service manual, was a little hesitant. I changed my t-stat (to a 180) about 4k miles ago with no real change in cooling. Thanks much!!

Thank you for taking the time to make this video! One question, going to attempt the radiator replacement on mine and curious - what you would do different if you had it on a 4 post lift? Lucky enough to have one in the garage, but not sure if it would be much help for this job? Thanks again!

Another great video. My Ron Davis aluminum radiator is a little wider than OEM. You were able to remove one of your hood springs and it remained up and stable?

Fantastic video for Viper owners. Great job! You recall the prove of the recore?

Where did you send it. The radiator on my 98 gts just started leaking.

Actually, I used your vid to help me remove the radiator from my 97 Viper, but I ordered a BeCool radiator via Summit Racing, just letting you know

Thanks for the video and step by step, pretty simple. I need to do this on my 96 GTS. Had a few questions though. Was there any fan fitment issues with adding the extra core to the radiator? What was their turn around time? Lastly, if you don't mind, what was the cost to get this done? I'm trying to keep my OEM radiator and not going with aluminum from the horror stories I've been reading. Thanks!
@BoostedMotorsports7 жыл бұрын
No fitment issues, the stock end tanks are built for 3 core but they only put 2 row core. The extra space is between the rad and condenser so the rad fan isn't affected with fitment. Turn around time was about a week from the place I used. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for the vid man! What if any noticeable cooling affects did this have on the car?
@BoostedMotorsports7 жыл бұрын
More to come! My car was having some cooling issues prior and it has now returned to normal. If you aren't experiencing any overheat conditions I wouldn't worry about it :)

Where did you send your radiator too for repair ?

What's the name of the company that refurbished your radiator? My gen 1 is running a tad warm. I'm gonna burp it and flush it but I may need a new radiator.

Great job, I have an '02 also with Mishimoto hoses and think a rad will be in my future down the line also. You have any plans to add an SCT tuner or anything?

Thanks for another informative video👍🏻how many miles do you have on your Viper? I have read about blocked up radiators with relatively low mileage
@BoostedMotorsports7 жыл бұрын
charlie ryan thanks Charlie! Mine just hit 70k miles but there have been lots of others with their rad clogged up with 30k and less miles so I think it's more of an age related issue rather than miles!

Why didn’t u go with a three row aluminum rad I’m at this point now I’ve heard don’t go aftermarket but I don’t know what to do 2004 viper I had a rock hit the rad before that I had no heating issues
@BoostedMotorsports5 жыл бұрын
If you have 04 you won’t have the same cooking issues as the gen 2. Just replace with oem you should be fine 👍

It was called Radiator Works in Los Angeles. Super old school guys and strictly only rebuild radiators. Top quality work for sure!
