Vynikající video! Díky němu jsem se do výměny pustil. Nebylo to snadné, ale nakonec se mi to podařilo. Děkuji moc za spolupráci 😅!

Thank you so much for posting this video. It made a very difficult job possible. Not for the faint hearted but possible. If I can suggest some improvements, I think maybe one of the ribbon connectors should be removed earlier. Could you possibly make an enlarged view showing how to reconnect the ribbon connectors as many people will not be aware of the locking action. I found the big one connecting the keyboard particularly fiddly. However, you have done a fantastic video. Presently HP are taking weeks to turn a battery replacement around so this has saved me a great deal of hassle. I used a genuine HP battery as replacement and so far it is charging and the laptop is working! Took me two hours stopping to take pictures at each stage.

Unfortunately you edited the video around the 2:50 mark, how are you getting that top black frame off? Mine seems to be firmly attached.

did not miss anything, make sure you've unscrewed all relevant screws and unplugged those 3 cabels and yes it seems hard, but doable recommend plastic tool to pop it out.

What battery code does the CMOS battery in that laptop use?
@vlachy Жыл бұрын
To anybody wondering *why is this so hard to get:* it's because for the laptop to be so thin Lithium battery is used - but it's very dangerous to manipulate (if punctured/damaged it can explode or start a firework...) that's why you basically have to disassemble the whole thing... Why is the whole thing plastic and breaks easily...well... that's just because they want you to buy a new one every 5 years or so...

We have symptoms of the keyboard flashing off and on, can't turn on the laptop, laptop seems to be OK with out the battery. Is this a battery issue or a MB issue?

is the little light next to power in blinking if you try to turn it on with the battery in? if so, it's a battery issue 90%

Hello :) I recently installed the latest BIOS and update my graphics drivers. Shortly after that I experienced these weird graphics artifacts on my screen whenever I use programs that use 3D hardware acceleration. Do you have any ideas what the cause might be? HP Support were any help btw :(
@SMDSpain5 жыл бұрын
Hlumisa Mazomba Hi! If the problem has appeared after the update, do a rolback. Enter BIOS f10 and you can return to the previous BIOS version. You need to have the network cable connected. Good luck and don’t forget to suscribe to my channel please 🙏🏻 Regards! 😉

Mine did the same thing for years. Finally, I pulled the two hatches off the back, and under the small hatch (the one covering the hard drive) I found two small silver screws rolling around. They appear to be holding down a thin plastic cover over the hard drive but the cover is also held down with two black screws so I just pulled them out with needle-nose pliers and did not attempt to replace them. I can't believe both these screws worked their way loose but apparently they did.

This is too too complicated. Mine developed a fault and it was heating too bad and seeing that procedure to remove the battery I can only conclude that was a very serious design shortfall on this version

what brand and/or specific models would you recommend? But this is really sad older ProBooks were made much more easy, just the display joints were faulty

They are making electronics extra extra difficult to replace simple parts. Very sad. HP is now becoming evil. It's a silly battery people . Why make it 58 steps ?

I did this. Now my laptop doesnt turn on anymore. HP is such an Evil company. Battery replacement shouldn't be a one hour job of 30 screws and sensitive wires. My screen doesnt turn on , my laptop is useless
