The problem is that if a side hustle is discovered and broadcast it online, eventually it becomes over saturated by people trying to get into the same things and also businesses catch on and discover how to make profits for themselves and cut off the middle man... in summary, if you discover an untapped side hustle no one knows about, keep it to yourself or charge an unafforable amount so only select few learn it... when its given for free, the side husle is no longer effective

He and everyone else selling these BS courses are already in logistics and know if it can be can be sold, they can act as gurus to influence people to think they can quit their job to make this a full time thing when it’s only a supplementary weekend income. He’s making it seem like a person just easily starts this without heavily investing office/equipment and warehouse space. He probably has years logistics and transporting experience. The average person will go broke or in debt if they don’t have a business network. This is why I stick to pressure washing. I can find so many things to wash that people didn’t know existed and that’s just my side income on top of my 65k/yr job. Ironically I hate other blue collar people with a passion.

its almost impossible to get pallets around here, sure you can get 1 or 2 if you wanna drive 30 miles. or if you want to spend $5-10 on broken, warped, rotting pallets. Ive been looking all over even for just moderate conditioned ones for crafting with. but its almost cheaper and in some cases cheaper to buy fresh wood from the lumber yard even with this stupid woodflation.

Hi my boyfriend makes 1,200 a day reselling pallets. He started about 3 months ago and brings in 12k month. Definitely think it worth it to get into all you need is a pick up truck and trailer. So far the pallets yards he used have welcomed him with open arms and are really impressed with how many he brings in which is about 200 each load. The only tricky part is getting the pallets some companies won’t allow it and some will just have to talk to store managers. Hope this helps.

You asked the same question I had when I first heard about this. There are established businesses that rely on pallets for their inventory regularly so they must already know where to get them from and have their pallet-using logistics already set up. But suddenly they're going to need you? It doesn't make any sense.

I've been contemplating this for a couple weeks now. I live close to an area that is getting lots of warehouses (Amazon, Walmart, UPS, Lennox, Ball, Nestle, ect) somewhere about 40-50 warehouses and at least 20 more going up in the next year! I've called a couple pallet recyclers and it doesn't seem like any of them are buying. My question is how do I find buyers and who do I ask for when I approach these warehouses to ask what they do or want for their pallets. I'm serious when I say these warehouses probably have 50-100k (or more) pallets each and I think when this current building boom is over there might be close to 70 warehouses that have over a million pallets!!! And I really want a piece of the pie! I only have a 16' enclosed trailer now, and really no place to store pallets. Where or who should I be talking to about a place to store pallets? Also what do you think about this name for a company : purple pallet people, and eventually have purple trucks?

I put it down for a few weeks to focus on my regular job, but im not making what I want to make in my regular job and now I'm diving back into the Simplest Biz again. I do wish the course was more precise in a lot of the education. And I also wish it was more professional. Its kind of like several videos slapped together. John could have definitely put a few more bucks into a more professional production for the course. But, it's a great start and from what I hear,, the FB private group is very valuable. Once I get to module 10, I'll jump in the group and do more of a followup. Overall, the business seems very interesting and profitable.

Ok so here is how that works, they will ask you for $10k, than $20k, than $30k than $40k …I think you get the idea by now. Remember, YOU are the one that they need, you don’t need them. You were helping them clean out their warehouse so that they can have more space for their products. In reality, they were supposed to be paying you to clear out their warehouse and not the other way around. That’s why I refused to pay. Interestingly enough, my competitor ended up leaving them hanging and they had asked me if I’ll be willing to get the pallets for free, but I respectfully declined, because I have several Amazon warehouses and I’m fine with those accounts.
