Yeah seemed easy enough saves people from throwing them away and saves them money as well they are expensive now at least 25/30 on sites but glad I was able to reset them all thanks for comment 👍🙂

Hi , good video. Do you know what the 2 middle connections on the Battery do ?

They have power running through then I can only guess something to do with the chip inside charger controlling charge and trips it to charge as charger has same 2 connections so I can only guess it runs with that charger 👍 and glad you enjoyed

Hi, the battery of my Talkpod UV5S doesn't have indication of polarity on it, and I'm trying this method because the battery of this radio is rare in the market to replace.

Nice well good luck just remember 30 seconds to a minute and it should be all good mate you can obviously do it for 1/2 mins but to be safer and to check it wants to gain a charge would recommend 30 seconds on 6/12v if stuck and need any help message me on YT mate 👍

@@sturmgeschutz5171 ah ok if you have a voltage meter that would be amazing but if you don’t only thing I can recommend is either searching up the battery and seeing if it shows the minus or plus on the battery or take a chance hooking thr wires on and hope it isn’t in reverse cause it could end very badly for the plug and battery but for 10 seconds it shouldn’t do much other that get warm or trip the plug hope this helps you

My motorola battery won't charge.i never used them for a year can I getting them working like that

@@boss6438 you’ll need either a 6/9v charger as seen in the video I did strip the wires on each end make sure you know which one is +and- then put them onto the battery to boost it then put it on the charger if you have one then it should charge if that doesn’t work the battery might not be working correctly inside hope this helps :)

@@boss6438 can you get a voltage meter there around £5/10 max as this will not only save your battery but your plug because if you reverse polarity it can cause loads of issues with the battery as when you do the reset if you do reset it can reset it in reverse I’ve seen it happen before and then the battery had to be chucked because it basically fried it if that makes sense so if you can get a voltage meter that would be great thx then you can check which side is positive and negative
