How to reset an emergency door release unit.

Someone pressed this at work by mistake and this helped me fix it. Didn't have the proper key so used to tinyphlips screwdrivers

Thanks for the info! I was actually trapped in a stairwell today with one of these bad boys. I didn't end up pressing it (I was rescued by someone else in a different section of the stairwell) because I was scared that I would set off an alarm or cause some kind of long-standing damage to the locking mechanism, but this definitely reduces the anxiety around that happening again.

I opened the emergency exit at the nursing home to let a lizard out. But then I could not work out how to lock the door. I got the plastic key from the office but I still did not know how it works. When the bottom part of the case came down I thought I had broken it. I guess I should have watched this video first 🤔
