Yesterday morning my day went bad some jerk cut me off and i landed first rear side on the guardrail and then the frontside ( I just bought the car cause i am very ill and this car was the first on my bucket list) at first i thought the car was totaled because the bangs were so hard, i had the soft-top closed and also the rear headrest protection things went off and i prayed to god please let it not be worse and i stopped and i think it is not as bad as i first thought. but thanx to your video i could put the protection back in place cause my roof did not open cause it got stuck on these high things ( i come from the netherlands so exuse me for my grammar) but again many thanx for you footage greetings Merv

Lady’s and gentlemen Be warned if your roof is up as mine was Whilst pushing roll bars down I let go pressure and it flipp up squashing my finger between roof and roll bar ooooooach. Lucky not broken finger Take care What I did was when I got the bars to a certain pint with the rest rest flaps holing it I put the roof down then had better head room to push roll bars down till the locked again Hope this helps 🎉

Thank you for your description, it also works with my Astra twin top. But will they pop up again? Is it safe to just return them back? Because my car still showing alarming airbag indicator at the dashboard.

altabeb altabeb your welcome and that’s great man, glad I was able to help you with your Astra as well. I’m not an expert but I would say that it’s safe to put them back down as it is manufactured that way so that it can be reset. Mine have never popped up again after I put them down that time. And in regards to your airbag light it’s probably best to take it to a garage to have that checked as they would have a better idea of what’s causing it. Could be something simple like a system reset or a sensor or something. Hope this helps and your able to fix that problem

Trav B fam you got to reset it that handle in the boot(located on the roof of the boot)pull out & down ,then push back up (May take a few times)after each time you pull down & push back up .try the roof dwn button . Try that worked 4 me& many others👊🏿
