How To Reset LGTV Wrong/Forgotten Password, Simple

This is how to reset a forgotten password on LG TV Digital and Analog TV's. This method works for LG Televisions manufactured from 2013 to date and involves entering a reset code.
1. Press Menu
2. Go to Lock and open password box
3. Press MUTE 3 times
4. New 6 digit password box will appear
5. Enter 129472 (enter 210499 for older models)
6. Set new password
7. Confirm new password
For LG TVs manufactured in 2012 and earlier, then try 210499 instead of 129472

You don't need the service remote. Maybe the Wi-Fi card you're installing is also faulty or has some bent pins.
